Barnyard Boo

Thanksgiving Point right behind our house does amazing activities for families and children all year long and we get to benefit from it because of our passes. This year we did Barnyard Boo instead of Cornbelly’s because it’s too crowded. Barnyard Boo is in the Farm Country area and they have Halloween festivities there as well. Halloween Decorations 2013

I’m not a big fan of Halloween and in the past I’ve only decorated with pumpkins on the porch. However this year I was talking with my neighbor about how much I dislike it and she said well at least do it for your kids. She made a really good point so I decided to get creative with supplies I already had and make a few things. I started with the wreath and I used my 4th of July wreath I made and cut up strips from a garbage bag and tied it into the wreath. Super simple and the added a few white feathers and hung it from some burlap. The second decoration was I took white fabric and cut into squared and took a cotton ball for the head of the ghost and tied with twine to make little ghost ornaments to hang from my awesome trees. The girls wanted to participate in some way so I printed off bats onto card stock and then laminated them and the girls cut them out and we placed them on the trees and hung a few on our front door. I have a plan to make a banner but I think that’s enough for now. I think I have a good start to my Halloween decor. What do you think? Now onto figuring out...
